Applied AI

I worked as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, where I worked on multi-modality related problems. This experience gave me a closer view of how applied research is shaped by production constraints, data quality, system reliability, and the need to connect model behaviour with user-facing value.

Software and AI strategy

I have also done low-key software and AI strategy consulting for a mid-sized company. The work involved thinking through where AI could realistically help, where ordinary software engineering was the better answer, and how to turn broad technical ambition into a more practical roadmap.

Software development

During my undergraduate study, I worked as a software developer at Infrastructures for Information, commonly known as i4i. That experience shaped a lot of my early engineering habits: building maintainable software, understanding existing systems before changing them, and writing code that other people can actually work with.

Clinical research systems

I also worked as a Research Assistant on the SickKids Uroflow project. The system connected a mobile app for recording urine sound, backend processing, and a clinician-facing interface for reviewing generated curves and patient status. It was a useful experience in building software around a real clinical workflow.
